Working With Free Range Kids

(Primary age range)

At last, a practical behaviour management workshop for primary schools that handles the real every day issues of working with 21st century pupils!  Please note: this course requires a minimum of 3 hours


‘Working With Free Range Kids’ is delivered at your school and helps teaching or support staff to:

  • Conquer low level disruption
  • Avoid confrontation
  • Handle the pack instinct
  • Regain and maintain attention

The workshop includes the following topics:

  • Breaking the cycle of failure
  • Building Emotional literacy skills
  • Being aware of the pitfalls
  • Valuing the individual

Getting them back using

  • Practiced routines

Handling the pack instinct

  • Keeping self-esteem intact
  • Avoiding smokescreens
  • Ensuring privacy and dignity

Using rewards and sanctions

Avoiding confrontation

  • How to use language of choice
